Rare Rhinos
This is what a rhino looks like and where they live, assuming near a lake and also near jungles. |
Introduction:
How rare are rhinos really? Actually, there's only a few thousand in Africa, and they're endangered. Rhino's name is after they're incredibly large horns, and the rhinoceros' name is also in Greek for "nose", and on their nose is a horn. People in asia kill rhinos for their horns, which are used for medicine and to hand on their beloved walls. Rhino horns are continued to be sold, and could be sold for over three times the cost of gold on the black market! Illegal poaching is very illegal, although people still do it these days.My Opinion:
Rhinos are great creatures and shouldn't be hunted the way they are currently. People kill them just for the money, which is very unreliable as soon the price will decrease and the rhino population is going down to zero. Once they are extinct, we'd have one less species on the Earth, which may seem like nothing, but seeing how rhinos are so known it'd be dreadful. I also think they should be preserved and held somewhere special with acres of land where none can touch them, or even think of harming them.
They'd be peaceful and we'd not have to worry about them going extinct.
We may hurt them on sight because they enormous and frightening, although they're scared of us. They may charge at us because of self-defense, but then we'd just kill them and move on with it. We should leave them alone so this shouldn't happen. They're even vegetarians usually, eating grass and leaves. If people think they can get away with killing these innocent creatures, they should think again. They wouldn't die without a fight!

This is the other part of rhinos diet. They eat this as grass depletes, and is usually as a backup.
